Guestrooms are classically decorated and most have views of the surrounding mountains. In keeping with its "haunted hotel" reputation, the hotel shows Stanley Kubrick's movie version of Stephen King's "The Shining" on a continuous loop on guest room televisions, alternating it with "Dumb and Dumber" (filmed at the Stanley) or the ABC miniseries version of "The Shining."
